Why We Built Alignify

Alignify began with a simple idea: make academic effectiveness easier, clearer, and mission-aligned for everyone involved—from faculty to accreditors.

As a higher education administrator at both two-year colleges and universities, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of measuring mission fulfillment. Faculty are committed to supporting student learning, but many are unsure where to begin, or lack the time to track outcomes consistently. As a result, assessment efforts are often sidelined until the last minute, leaving institutions scrambling to produce meaningful data when compliance or accreditation deadlines loom.

In our work with colleges and universities, we kept hearing the same frustration:

“We’re collecting data, but we’re not using it to improve.”

Or worse — “We’re doing assessment for the sake of compliance, not for the success of our students.”

We built Alignify to change that. Alignify is our response to the complexity, silos, and disconnect between institutional outcomes, accreditation expectations, and actual improvement. We wanted to give institutions a tool that would not only streamline assessment — but actually align it with their mission.

Our goal is simple: To provide a data-driven pathway for evidence that is meaningful, manageable, and mission-driven.
